Robert L. Viventi, D.M.D. Dr. Viventi joined Central Dental Associates in 1986. He received his D.M.D. from Tufts University, following the receipt of his B.S. in Science from St. Lawrence University. He has particular interest in the continuing study and use of advanced restorative processes. Dr. Viventi, who was raised in Cincinnati, enjoys golf, skiing, motorcycling and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

John J. Maheu, D.M.D. Dr. Maheu joined Central Dental Associates in 1993. After receiving dual degrees from Syracuse University in Chemistry and Biology, Dr. Maheu received his D.M.D. from Tufts University in 1993.

 Valerie Smith, D.M.D. Dr Smith graduated Temple University in 1992 before attending Boston University Dental School.  After recieving her D.M.D., Dr. Smith attended The Medical College of Virginia for her degree in Advanced Periodontics.  Dr. Smith maintained a private practice in Virginia for 8 years before relocating back to the Boston area.  Dr. Smith is also on staff at Brigham & Women's Hospital.

Maryam Shomali, D.M.D. Dr. Shomali received her degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1990. After practicing one year of general dentistry, she entered the endodontic residency program at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry where she was awarded Certificate of Endodontics in 1993.
